ABOUT THE EVENT

The Honeoye Lake Triathlon for Sandy is a fundraiser for the Golisano Children's Hospital. The University of Rochester Triathlon Club is the host of this event and will be proudly hosting several performance clubs from the University of Rochester during the reception after the triathlon (The clubs will be listed at a later date). The triathlon consists of a .5 mile swim in Honeoye Lake, followed by a 12.5 mile bike, finishing off with a 3.1 mile run around the lake. The course takes racers through the beautiful areas surrounding the lake, finishing at a large reception for both racers and anyone who wants to support the children's hospital.
